Founded in 1935, The Double Bay Eighteen Footers club is key Double Bay landmark. Situated on the harbour at the end of Bay Street it boasts a restaurant with views all the way to Manly and has a very active sailing and social calendar.
18 Foot Skiff racing in its present form was started in 1892 by Mark Foy, a keen sailor and founder of Foys Department Store in central Sydney. The store no longer trades, but the building remains and houses Law Courts. Click here for further details
