Double Bay Sponsors help support the following community initiatives:-

Monthly News & Network Nights

 

These are run on the 4th Tuesday of each month (so far as possible) and typically include a 30-40 minute network session, time for new businesses in Double Bay to introduce themselves, a five minute spot from an established business, announcements of marketing & other initiatives and events and short presentations on Double Bay related topics. All members of the Double Bay community are welcome to attend.

 

Monthly E-Newsletters (and announcements)

 

Beautiful Double Bay Community e-Newletters are published in the early part of each month and report on matters discussed during News & Network Nights as well as general community information, in particular community events and cooperative marketing initiatives. They are sent by email to “opt in” subscribers within the whole Double Bay community (i.e. not just businesses)
 

 

Monthly Hard Copy Newsletters

 

Hard copy newsletters are also distributed every month to ensure that the same news also reaches those people who do not have ready access to computers, particularly those people who are working in shops.

 

The Beautiful Double Bay Website

 

The website www.beautifuldoublebay.com.au also allows the ready sharing of information such as the details of each business, the history of Double Bay, or links to ferry & bus timetables etc.

 

Beautiful Double Bay Business Directory

 

The Beautiful Double Bay Business Directory is also a key platform for sharing information within Double Bay and will allow businesses to more easily:-

 

·         Try Double Bay first

·         Refer business to other Double Bay businesses

 

The directory is currently being compiled and will be published in the early part of next year. It will be distributed free of charge to all businesses in a secure .pdf format, and will include links to business websites where relevant. Name, address, business type and contact details will all be published.

 

Sponsorship Support

 

Businesses can support these activities and promote themselves at the same time by becoming sponsors. Sponsors will be thanked publicly at meetings, or in writing in the publications that they support.
